Are you about to start a new job? Looking to move to another job? Or want to change from a casual to a full-time position in your workplace? If any of these situations are like yours, then we encourage you to learn more about your money.
Current research has found that young people experience the highest levels of financial hardship with nearly 50% of 18-24-year-olds not able to meet their personal debt obligations. To avoid this situation, you need to have a strong grasp on your money. If you have it, need it or want more of it, then we encourage you to learn about how to save, spend and invest it.

The Managing livestock for red meat production unit is suitable for Year 10 to Year 12, TAFE and University students working, or hoping to work, in an agricultural workplace. The aim is to ensure all future employees working on a livestock producing property are aware of the management practices and recording keeping obligations to ensure the red meat produced is safe to eat and fully traceable.

Biosecurity
The Biosecurity unit is suitable for Year 10 to Year 12, TAFE and University
students studying agricultural science, environmental science, health
science, veterinary science, animal science and other related courses. An audio option is available for the case study and questions to ensure it is accessible for all. The literacy level of this unit can be quite challenging with several specialised terms. Students can complete the unit at their own pace as the completed sections are saved along the way.
This unit is designed to help strengthen your awareness of the biosecurity system, biosecurity threats, and the concept of biosecurity being a ‘shared responsibility’. This unit uses the island state of Tasmania as an exemplar for the ways in which biosecurity helps to protect the state and country from the negative impacts of pests, weeds and diseases. The unit combines several national and state-based resources to provide you with a broad understanding of biosecurity meanings, risks, tools and some of the practical measures you can implement.
